Thermal-Cure Molding Silicone System for 3D Textiles
Our Industrial Molding Silicone Series turns multi-pass screen printing into a single thermal press operation, giving you high-build 3D textile branding in a fraction of the time.
Built for the non-stop production lines of sportswear and footwear factories, this heat-cure silicone flows perfectly into complex mold cavities with zero air trapping. Once pressed, it pops out clean every single time while locking onto synthetic and blended fabrics with an unbreakable bond. You get crisp, sharp 3D logos, flexible badges, and zipper pulls with perfect edge definition—at a much higher yield.
As a direct manufacturer, we back your global supply chain with strict lot-to-lot consistency and the scalability you need

Key Characteristics
Why choose our Molding Silicone?
Efficient Demolding & Tear Resistance
Formulated with internal release agents to facilitate clean demolding from metal tooling. This prevents material tearing and ensures edge integrity, even when processing intricate geometric designs.
Structural Stability (Shore A 50-60)
Provides high resistance against deformation and edge collapse. This specific hardness range ensures the molded 3D components maintain their shape during industrial washing cycles and physical compression.
High-Clarity Base Polymer
The highly transparent formulation enables precise pigment dispersion. This allows manufacturers to consistently achieve specific visual requirements, including gel or glass-like finishes.
Durable Adhesion & Vacuum Degassing
Engineered to operate with our Hot Melt Linker for reliable bonding across synthetic textiles (Lycra, polyester, and nylon). Its low-viscosity profile ensures rapid air release during the vacuum degassing process, effectively minimizing trapped bubbles and surface defects.

Operational Process
Molding requires precision. Here is the standard professional workflow:
1. Mold Preparation
Use a CNC-machined Aluminum or Copper mold. Clean it thoroughly. Spray a thin layer of Teflon release agent if necessary (though our silicone has self-release properties)
2. Mixing & Filling the Mold
Mix Molding Silicone Base + Catalyst (10:1) + Pigment. Expert Step: Vacuum Degassing. Place the mixture in a vacuum chamber for 2-3 minutes to remove all air bubbles. This is crucial for a smooth surface. Dispense the silicone into the metal mold. Scrape off excess silicone with a squeegee to ensure it is flush with the mold surface.
3. Transfer (The Critical Step)
Place the fabric (or a Hot Melt Film carrier) on top of the filled mold. Press: Heat Press at 160°C – 180°C for 20-40 seconds (depending on thickness). Note: If molding directly onto fabric, ensure you apply a layer of Silicone Glue/Linker on the back of the wet silicone before pressing the fabric down.
4. Cooling & Demolding
Allow the mold to cool slightly (or use a cooling station). Gently peel the fabric/film away. The silicone logo should pull out of the mold, attached to the fabric.

Customer Case Study
Client: A High-End Sports Glove Manufacturer (Italy).
The Pain Point: They were using PVC patches sewn onto the gloves. The sewing process was slow, punctured the waterproof membrane, and the PVC became brittle in cold weather.
The Solution: Switched to direct Molding Silicone onto the glove fabric.
The Result:
Waterproof Integrity: Maintained (no needle holes).
Performance: The silicone acted as a flexible impact protection (knuckle guard).
Aesthetics: A seamless, modern look that increased the product’s perceived value.
Silicone Molding FAQ
A: Yes. You need a Silicone Molding Machine (which has both heating and cooling plates) or a high-quality Heat Press. You also need custom metal molds.
A: Yes. You can use a dispensing syringe to fill specific parts of the mold with different colored silicones before the final press. This creates intricate, multi-colored 3D designs.
A: Bubbles occur if you don’t vacuum the ink or if the mold is too hot too quickly. We recommend Vacuum Degassing the mixed ink before filling the mold.
A: Not with our silicone. Because it leaves minimal residue, you simply need to wipe the mold with a silicone solvent or air-blast it every few hundred cycles.
A: Yes, our Premium Molding Silicone is highly durable and designed for outdoor use. It can withstand high temperatures, making it perfect for applications in sportswear, footwear, and accessories exposed to outdoor environments. It maintains its integrity even under extreme weather conditions.
A: For the best color consistency, always ensure that you mix your silicone base and pigment thoroughly and use high-quality pigments. Additionally, vacuum degassing the mixture is crucial to remove air bubbles and ensure a smooth, consistent color throughout your 3D logo. For multi-color effects, use different dispensing syringes to carefully fill sections of the mold before the final press.
A: While our molding silicone is primarily designed for fabrics, it can be applied to other flexible materials like rubber or certain plastics. For non-fabric applications, make sure to test adhesion and bond strength beforehand, as fabric-specific linkers might be required for optimal performance.
