Custom Silicone & Plastisol Color Pigments Formulated to Your Exact Specifications

From standard shades to strict corporate Pantone codes, SOLLYD delivers both pure pigment dispersions and ready-to-print colored inks. Benefit from zero color migration, ultimate opacity, and 100% compliance with major global brand RSLs.

The Pantone® Language: Solving the Sponsor Problem

Digital screens are deceptive. A corporate color displayed on a MacBook looks completely different on a Dell monitor or a smartphone. To eliminate costly errors and brand inconsistencies, SOLLYD never relies on digital mock-ups for final ink formulation.
Pantone Solid Coated (C) as the Universal Rule: To ensure 100% accuracy, we do not accept JPEGs or screen grabs for color approval. We require Pantone C-series codes. This guarantees that the pigment pastes or pre-tinted bases we supply will match your corporate guidelines perfectly, anywhere in the world.
Physical Strike-Off Samples: Fabric absorbs and reflects light differently. For large-scale orders and custom formulations, we send you physical “Strike-Off” fabric chips or small-batch wet samples. You verify the opacity, finish, and exact shade under your own lighting conditions before placing a bulk order.

Standard Pigments vs. Custom Pantone Formulation

We offer two paths to fulfill your color requirements based on your production timeline and brand guidelines:
Standard Color Pastes (Ready-to-Ship): We maintain a full inventory of highly concentrated, stock standard silicone and plastisol pigments (including primary colors, whites, blacks, and neons). Ideal for fast-turnaround print jobs or facilities equipped to mix their own shades in-house.
Custom Pantone Matching (5-7 Day Formulation): For projects with strict brand identity guidelines, our lab formulates pre-mixed inks to your exact Pantone Solid Coated (C) spec. We provide physical “Lab Dips” (wet ink or printed swatches) for approval. Recommended to ensure 100% brand accuracy and eliminate batch-to-batch color variance.

Organizer’s FAQ: Managing Color & Brand Risk

Struggling with dye migration, poor opacity, or color matching? Discover how SOLLYD’s advanced pigment formulations eliminate production bottlenecks and protect your brand’s reputation.
Q1: My current supplier can’t hit exact corporate Pantone colors, and shades vary between batches. How do you ensure color consistency?

A: At SOLLYD, we guarantee flawless Pantone matching and batch consistency. Whether you choose our ready-to-use pre-mixed silicone inks or our ultra-concentrated color pastes for in-house blending, our rigorous QC process ensures that your 100th batch matches your 1st batch perfectly. We rely on strict scientific formulation to protect your client’s brand identity, eliminating costly “Buyer’s Remorse.”

Q2: Printing light colors on dark garments requires too many layers, making the print heavy and wasting time. Can your pigments fix this?

A: Yes. We formulate our color pastes with premium, high-density pigments designed specifically for maximum coverage. By adding just 5% to 15% of our color paste into your clear silicone base, you can achieve brilliant, highly opaque colors on black or dark fabrics with significantly fewer print strokes. This saves you valuable production time and material costs while maintaining a soft hand-feel.

Q3: The dye from my polyester fabrics bleeds into the ink during the curing process (e.g., white ink turns pink). How do I stop this?

A: This is a common issue known as dye migration or bleeding. To solve this, our color pigments feature an advanced anti-migration formulation. When paired with SOLLYD’s anti-sublimation base layers (such as our RG-2666T), our colors remain locked in place. They are highly resistant to heat and chemicals, ensuring zero dye bleeding—even on heavily sublimated polyester fabrics.

Q4: We’ve had issues where cheap pigments caused our prints to fail OEKO-TEX or brand audits due to heavy metals. Are your products compliant?

A: Absolutely. SOLLYD is committed to 100% eco-friendly and certified safe chemistry. All our color pastes, pre-mixed plastisols, and silicone inks are completely free from heavy metals, PVC, and phthalates. We are proudly ZDHC Level 3 and OEKO-TEX compliant, meaning our products meet the strictest Restricted Substances Lists (RSL) of the world’s top sportswear brands.

Q5: How does your Custom Pantone Matching service work, and what is the lead time?

A: Our custom color process is designed for 100% accuracy. Simply provide us with your target Pantone Solid Coated (C) code or send a physical fabric swatch. Our color lab will formulate the exact recipe. Within 3 to 5 business days, we will send you a physical “Lab Dip” (a wet ink sample or printed drawdown on fabric) for your team’s approval. Once approved, we can supply it as a ready-to-use pre-mixed ink for your bulk production.

Q6: Can I mix your silicone color pastes into plastisol or water-based inks?

A: No, chemical compatibility is crucial. Silicone color pastes must only be mixed with silicone base inks. Mixing them into plastisol or water-based bases will cause curing failure and chemical rejection. However, SOLLYD manufactures complete color systems for all ink types. If you are printing with plastisol or water-based inks, please select our specific plastisol pigments or water-based colorants to ensure perfect integration.

Q7: Will the printed color look different on a black garment versus a white garment? How do I fix this?

A: Yes, the underlying fabric color can alter the final appearance of the ink. To achieve the exact Pantone match on dark or black garments, we recommend printing a highly opaque white silicone underbase (using our SI-101 White Pigment mixed with a base silicone) first. Flash-cure it, and then print your custom color on top. Alternatively, you can increase the color paste ratio up to 15% in your mixture for maximum opacity.

Q8: Do your fluorescent (neon) pigments fade easily after washing or UV exposure?

A: Neon colors are notoriously prone to fading, but SOLLYD has engineered a solution. Our fluorescent color pastes are formulated with premium, light-fast particles that offer superior UV resistance and wash-fastness. While all neon pigments have natural limits compared to standard colors, our formulations significantly extend the vibrancy and lifespan of your high-visibility athletic wear prints.

Q9: What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for your standard color pastes vs. custom pre-mixed colors?

A: Our MOQs are structured to ensure both flexibility and production efficiency:

  • Standard Color Pastes: We offer a low MOQ of just 10kg. Since these are kept in stock, it’s easy for you to order a wide spectrum of primary and secondary colors for your in-house mixing room.
  • Custom Pre-Mixed Colors (Pantone Matching): For specialized color formulations, the MOQ is 50kg. This minimum is required because custom shades undergo a dedicated lab process—including precise color matching, strike-off testing, and isolated batch production—to guarantee 100% brand accuracy and zero color variance.
