Custom Fabric Colors & Pantone Matching | Ensuring Brand Consistency for Race Events

A sponsor’s brand identity is defined by their color. Color mismatch is one of the biggest risks for a Race Director managing multiple vendors.

The Pantone® Language: Solving the Sponsor Problem

Screens lie. A color on a MacBook looks different than on a Dell or a smartphone. To avoid “Buyer’s Remorse,” we do not use digital images for color approval.
Pantone Solid Coated (C): We require C-series codes for all branding. This is the universal language for Sponsors and Organizers.
Strike-Off Samples: For large-scale orders, we provide physical “Lab Dips” or fabric chips for your team to approve before the mass production machines start.

Stock Colors vs. Custom Dyeing

We offer two paths to fulfillment based on your timeline and budget:

Stock Fabric Colors (2-3 Week Delivery): We maintain over 50 “Ready-to-Ship” colors in our 140g technical mesh. Ideal for fast-turnaround events or late-signing sponsors.

Custom Dye-to-Match (4-5 Week Delivery): For events with strict brand guidelines, we dye the raw yarn to your exact Pantone spec. This is recommended for orders over 1,000 units to ensure 100% brand accuracy.

Organizer’s FAQ: Managing Color & Brand Risk

We have curated these frequently asked questions based on over a decade of feedback from global marathons and 5K/10K road races.
Q1: Do you charge extra for custom Pantone colors?

A: There is no extra charge if we use our extensive stock colors. For custom dyeing of quantities under 500pcs, there is a small “Dye Vat” surcharge. For bulk orders, custom dyeing is a standard part of our service.

Q2: Will the color fade under extreme UV exposure during a summer race?

A: No. We use high-quality disperse dyes that reach a UV Color Fastness Grade 4+. The color is locked into the polyester at 200°C, ensuring it stays vibrant even during a 6-hour marathon under direct sunlight.

Q3: Can you match the shirt color to our existing event tents or signage?

A: Yes. If you have existing event flags or tents, send us the Pantone code or a physical swatch. We will perform a color match to ensure your entire “Event Village” looks cohesive.

Q4: Can we see the colors in person before committing?

A: Absolutely. We recommend our Physical Swatch Kit, which includes real fabric chips of our most popular marathon colors.
